The OSHA Hazard Communication Standard deals with chemical safety and requires employers to inventory chemicals, provide training to staff, make safety data sheets available, ensure proper labeling, address contractors and non-routine tasks. The NYS Right-to-Know Law requires annual re-training and signs to be posted in the workplace.
