Admission Requirements

Application and Admission Requirements:

TEAS BROCHURE
  • At least 17 years of age.
  • Complete an application.  
  • Provide an official high school transcript or HSE/GED transcript.  If you need assistance with this please see our FORMS page.
  • If you possess a foreign high school or college diploma you must have your credentials evaluated to confirm equivalent educational achievements. Please call our office for more information if needed.
  • Once the applicant has submitted an application they may call to schedule their TEAS-VI entrance exam. Please see the link on the left titled TEAS-VI Resources to learn more and to obtain practice exam material.
  • Physical exam and immunization records are required.  Please see our FORMS page.
  • Three references, one should be from current employer, then previous employers and or instructors/guidance counselors. (No friends or family.) Please see our FORMS page.
  • Original Birth certificate to be copied.
  • Drivers license or legal picture identification to be copied.

Advanced Placement:

Potential students with prior health care education (college credit or certificate program credit) may be eligible for advanced placement into the second term (January) of the program on a space available basis.  Please refer to the program brochure for more information or you may call 607-431-2562 to discuss the specifics of entering the program.
